Jeff Joiner has an interesting background and a unique set of experiences that have prepared him to deliver engaging, impactful motivational speaking for audiences around the country.

 

Jeff grew up in Detroit, Michigan and has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts from Cedarville University. In college, his public speaking career began, as he was selected to be on the university’s Speech Team, traveling the country to compete in public speaking competitions. Jeff won several championships, and was offered a full-ride scholarship to graduate school at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he earned a Master's Degree in Speech Communication.

 

Upon graduation, when Jeff was 22 years old, he was offered a faculty position at Miami University. He taught there for five years, teaching classes on Public Speaking, Interviewing, and Advanced Public Speaking. He also coached their championship Speech Team. Jeff has been recognized by both the Ohio State Senate and Ohio House of Representatives for excellence in teaching, coaching, and team-building.

 

Jeff decided to leave teaching and gain some experience in corporate America. He worked for the Campbell Soup Company for ten years, where he was awarded Campbell’s prestigious Merit Award for Excellence three times. Jeff then spent five years with MVP Sales, a sales and consulting company, specializing in helping companies in the foodservice industry succeed.

 

Jeff left the comfort-zone of being an employee to go on his own in 2012, launching Jeff Joiner Training, LLC. His list of clients and number of speaking events has grown like crazy as he continues to delight audiences around the country. His business grows almost exclusively from word-of-mouth as his Raving Fans spread the word to new organizations looking for a world-class speaker for an event.

 

In addition to being the founder and owner of Jeff Joiner Training, Jeff also owns Joiner Enterprises, a business mentorship company, assisting highly-motivated people to learn to maximize their talents and pursue their dreams. By providing them with the training, mentorship, connections, and resources they need to succeed, Jeff Joiner has assisted several hundred people reach their financial and personal goals. 

 

All along the way, Jeff has been focused on helping people, learning success lessons, and developing his skills as a communicator and coach. His purpose is to equip people to live victoriously and abundantly, succeeding at the highest possible levels at work and at home.

 

Jeff not only delivers an amazing learning experience for his audiences, but has a reputation for delivering a great experience for the Meeting Planners who are organizing the events at which he speaks. Their job is so difficult and chronically under-appreciated. Jeff makes them look like stars, and prides himself in being low-maintenance and easy to work with. You won’t get a prima donna with Jeff, but a hang-loose professional who is determined to help you create a great conference, meeting, or event.

 

Jeff lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife of 30 years and their 3 amazing kids.
