Child Nutrition Speaker and Trainer
Danielle Johnson is a school nutrition leader, speaker, and trainer with more than 20 years of experience serving in and strengthening child nutrition programs. With experience at both the state and district level, Danielle understands the many moving parts of school nutrition from compliance and operations to leadership, culture, and the people who make it all happen. Currently, she serves as a Director for a California school district.
Danielle is passionate about helping school nutrition professionals recognize the influence they have not only on the programs they operate, but also on the students and communities they serve. She is known for bringing humor, energy, and real-world experience into the room. Danielle has presented for organizations including the School Nutrition Association, the National Child and Adult Care Food Program Association, and the California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom, as well as colleges and other professional organizations. She also provides speaking, training, and professional support to school districts nationwide, focusing on leadership, operational excellence, and staff wellness.
Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition Management from Arizona State University.
Based in Fresno, California, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family. Outside of school nutrition and speaking, you can usually find her on the pickleball court or settling in with a good book.
